The woman who died in the tragedy was named as Kaileigh Seidel. Deputies and firemen were dispatched to South Harbor Way near the Hawthorne Bridge shortly after 8 p.m. on a report of an unconscious person in the water. The witness claimed to have witnessed Seidel being struck by another boat after falling off a boat. After being brought to the hospital, Seidel was pronounced dead, according to the law enforcement agencies.
