Eric Driscoll, 29, tragically passed away in a car accident, leaving his wife, Maiya Schroeder Driscoll, in mourning.

Eric Driscoll, a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, tragically passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 29, following a car accident in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Born on May 14, 1995, in Media, Pennsylvania, Eric was cherished by his parents, Michael and Joanne Driscoll, and his siblings Maggie, Colin, Jack, and Brendan.

Family and Loved Ones

Eric was a treasured grandchild of Pauline and Harry Butler, and Margaret “Margy” Driscoll and the late Timothy Driscoll. His wife, Maiya Schroeder Driscoll, brought immense joy and love into his life. He was also adored by his in-laws, Ronald W. Schroeder, Kristen Peters, Christopher John Peters, and sisters-in-law Mackenzie, Tatum J., and Tehya J. Peters. Maiya’s grandparents, Ruth Klineburger and Anthony Acchione, Stephen and Judy Klineburger, and Gail Schroeder and the late Andy Schroeder, also held Eric in high regard. He is survived by his aunts Lea Miller and Cathy Bradley (Rich), along with a large extended family.

Education and Career

Eric attended Delaware County Christian School, where he excelled in football and baseball. Driven by a strong sense of duty, he proudly served his country, graduating from Paris Island Boot Camp and completing his MOS training as a combat engineer at Camp LeJeune. He applied the discipline and team spirit he learned from his military service to his civilian career as a Case Manager at CIC Insurance, where his dedication and empathy were evident to all.

Personal Interests

Eric was passionate about spending time with his family, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, and playing golf. He was known for his friendly competition and love for the game. Those who knew him will remember him for his cheerful demeanor and readiness with a smile.

Funeral Arrangements

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, July 19, at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St., West Chester, Pennsylvania, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. His Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Oaklands Cemetery, West Chester, Pennsylvania.
